Meg Ruby is a classically trained concert pianist, certified yoga instructor, and sound/music healer. As a teacher and performer she has uniquely combined these disciplines to create workshops that are effective in helping people to connect with their creativity and self expression. 

Meg holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Michigan, a Master of Music in Performance from Arizona State University, and Doctoral Studies at The Eastman School of Music.  She is also a certified Yoga Instructor, Reiki practitioner, and a certified Sound Healing practitioner. By integrating her foundation in classical music and extensive performance and teaching experience with her deep passion for yoga and healing, Meg is able to use sound, music and movement to assist others on their journeys of self-discovery. 

From 2012 to 2016 Meg held the title of Lecturer of Piano at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.  And recently has performed at Carnegie Hall with pianist Mary Jo Pena and with Grammy Award winner Howard Levy at UMass Lowell, and Woods Hole, Massachusetts . In 2015 she performed at the Martha's Vineyard Film Festival for acclaimed teacher and pianist, Seymour Bernstein, at the presentation of Ethan Hawke’s film, "Seymour, An Introduction". She has also scored music for TV and film. Recent scoring work includes a film by NYC film maker Amanda DiMartino, the TV pilot for ‘Small Miracles’ starring Judd Hirsch, and ‘Whiteness in Plain View’ a documentary by film maker and historian Chad Montrie. 

Meg’s work in sound healing has taken her everywhere from the Berklee College of Music to the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association conference in Hong Kong with stops in Hawaii, Ecuador, Greece and India.
